15 months!

I have been a bad blogger lately. I have been too busy running around chasing this little guy:

who, by the way, just turned 15 months old. He got a great check-up from the dr. and is weighing in at a whopping 24 lbs and 31 inches long. He has been a very busy little boy lately, he is going non stop and always has something to check off his list of things to do. The main thing that has really kicked into gear is his vocabulary. I think he says a new word everyday! It is amazing that he is starting to really communicate. He is also becoming quite bossy and we have seen glimpses of what the terrible two's may look like. But, without further adieu here are some words in his vocab.

"hey"- he likes to grab my cell phone, put it to his ear and say "hey." There was a little girl at the playground the other day and he kept following her around saying "hey, hey, hey." Adorable.
"no"- His most common word besides "mama". He says it when he is doing something he knows he is not supposed to be doing.
"uh-oh"- He liked to drop or "throw" things so he can say this.
"eye"- He point to our eyes and says "eye"
"this" - sounds like "dis"
"that" - sounds like "dat"
"bye-bye"
"poop" - Always a crowd pleaser.
"yes" - he usually only says this when we ask him to. Sounds like "ess"
"nana"- When I say banana he repeats "nana"
"shoes" - "soos"
"toodles" - This is a Mickey Mouse thing that he has been working on for a few weeks. He started out with "too" and eventually got the "oooodah" added on.
"Mickey" or "ickey" - Again, maybe we watch too much Disney in the mornings.

He is really in that repeating stage. We are currently working on "thank you," "love you," and "please." He is such a mess and we are loving every minute of it. I am trying to hold on to the last bit of baby he has in him, although he doesn't have much time for cuddling, kissing, or all that nonsense these days- the boy is busy. I wish I could just make time freeze.
