Today I am...

Well actually it was yesterday, but who's counting? Second child. I know with Leyton I gave a monthly play by play and I will try to do the same with Elise, but between trying to wrangle a three year old, a newborn and work from home things are hectic.

Sweet girl is so dang precious I can't stand it. She is a little snuggle bunny. Last week she started smiling at us and she wants so badly to talk and coo. She is a pretty good sleeper at night. She will wake up every few hours to nurse but generally goes right back to sleep. Score. I will say she makes some crazy noises in her sleep- a mix between a horse and a dolphin.

Her brother LOVES her. He treats her like she is his puppy. He calls her "his baby." When she is awake he gets so excited and has to get in her face and rub her head and kiss her and talk to her in his baby voice. He calls her "little bit or scooterbug."  It is so sweet, sometimes a little overbearing, but sweet nonetheless.
